Kettle Mountain Bushwack

I'm debating whether to try this hike this weekend. I really want to get some scenic shots of the Hudson River and while I've floated by Kettle Mountain numerous times now, I haven't been up there yet.

Has anyone ever done this before? What kind of recon can you offer? Thanks a bunch!
