Killington full moon/sunrise hike 1/19/11

I'm planning on hiking in on the Bucklin trail next Wed during the full moon to be on top for the sunrise. If anyone is interested in joining me, just PM me. I hike at a moderate pace, fairly close to book I'd say.

I was just out XC skiing some local conservation land in the moonlight last evening. Pretty decent except where the tree cover got a bit heavy...

Even got to pull off a few sunset Teles on BC gear.

Walking on the white carpet is easy and fun. You can do pretty much anything that you do in daylight except fast skiing as long as the tree cover isn't too dense.

Try to avoid using your headlamp to maximize the fun...

And you don't have to worry about moonburn!
