date of hike -8-23-09.
airline- pleasant very good shape
short line-good shape slight mud was no big deal.
king ravine-rocks were very wet and slippery, slow and deliberate movements needed to not get in trouble.
spec. equipment=good boots for the boulders right above treeline.extra care to leave trail for boulder field view on right.
comments;Not for nothing but appalachia was overflowed to the max [including someone who nicely asked to have my spot] and I saw nobody car to king ravine floor and back.I felt selfish having a amazing boulder field to my self and the stationary fog.
