Trail Conditions: packed and easy below tree line, a lot of water ice above tree line.
Special Equipment Required: traction essential for water crossings and above tree line. We used microspikes and they worked great
Comments: First water crossing on Falling Water trail was a bit tricky: my feet got wet. High winds on the ridge plus lots of ice made above treeline travel a bit intense. Met just three people during the whole day! Ice on the west side of Lincoln looks great right now.
