Date of Hike: 2/22/09
Trail Conditions: packed to hut, drifts above hut, icy sections above treeline
Special Equipment Required: snowshoes desirable, traction for above treeline helpful.
Comments: Very windy around 11am above treeline. I'd say the gusts were above 70 mph and I know what 70 mph feels like. Turned around just below the summit. Strangely, Mt. Washington reported only about 35 mph at this time.
