All trails easy to follow. One recent (yesterday or day before) maple blowdown a couple of hundred yards in on Lake Trail. Some nettles on both the Baker Peak Trail and the upper half of Lake Trail, primarily near the intersection of the two trails.
Signage at north end of Griffith Lake explains the white blazes on the south branch of Old Job Trail. (Temporary relocation because the Big Branch bridge is out. A couple of weeks ago we did the northern part of Old Job Trail - Screwloose waded where the Old Job Bridge is to be rebuilt, Fourfingers has longer legs and stone-stepped.)
Left the trailhead at 6:45, up Lake Trail, quick hike up Baker Peak and back to Lake Trail, continued up to LT at Griffith Lake and along Old Job (LT/AT detour) to USFS 30. Reached our second car at 10:38. Entire trail system is gentle - easy on the feet and knees.
