Wesley Wamsganz, he was 22, not a kid. It was Thanksgiving week. I was on a search crew there for several days between the Loj, Marcy Dam, Avalanche Lake, and Lake Arnold. Active search was called off Nov 28. This is about the last news article on the subject.

I wasn't thinking he was a teen or younger. I guess young man would have been more appropriate. So he's just missing, perhaps in the ADK's where he was thought to be last.

It 's a bit eerie that we were in the diner where he worked just a few days before he walked into the woods.
