Where, you ask? My backyard...
So nice to have a firetower in my backyard, even if it's not open to the public, the cab has since been destroyed and it's a fairly ugly summit full of barbed wire fences, a microwave dish, and comm. towers...
I hiked this morning to Lenox Mt which is just up the road from me:

Found a real nice mtb trail that leads off of Reservoir road after receiving bogus information about Dunbar Rd (no relationship to steve I hope). dunbar road is not driveable as there is gate at the intersection, no mater what Catskill resident Ed Henry says in his guidebook. I sent an email to Black Dome Press to have them fix this errata.
Nonetheless, it's a nice short hike to a 2150' summit with a fire tower on it.
Came back by lunchtime and then went for a ride on my Salsa in Kennedy park, I biked over to the Arcadian shop to BS a bit with the fun folks there and then biked to downtown lenox to find "The Scoop". The Scoop was found and I had a small cone of Dirty Chocolate, which was nice and gritty, the way a real homemade ice cream cone should be. Yummy..

Might go explore more of the neighborhood tomorrow...
