didnt get any bites on osceola so i went up liberty. raining in the notch when i started. pretty much stopped by the time i hit the real trailhead. felt a little lightheaded around the flume slide trail cut off, musta been the CARBS..evil. bout an hour and a half up to summit of liberty. at the top i remembered to have a drink. i think i been working too hard...laffs. the snow and ice that was there last saturday was almost gone. nice surprise around the top, the sun sorta came out and it was hazy. it was a real cloud show up there...i bet if i was a couple hundred feet higher id have had a 360 view. back into the fog on the way down, got down about dark. im not sad to see the november ice disappearing. hope i can hike more this week after work. almost unfair to do 3000 vertical feet after work. living in concord has its good points.
