trails: whitehouse, liberty spring, franconia ridge

conditions: all trails well packed. the section between liberty and flume was a particularly pleasant snowshoe today. a couple duck under trees. snowbridges solid. flume slide trail was packed out from the lower junction. franconia ridge going north was not packed on my way up, but had seen some traffic heading north on my way down.

equipment: wore snowshoes the whole trip. some folks out today had light traction/crampons, which seemed fine although the trail was softening up in the sun later in the day.

comments: nice day. great views and good snow conditions. was glad to be out.
