Trails were well packed the entire route. There was an AMC group meeting in the lot as we headed up. They passed us part way up Liberty Springs. Between their group of 8, and our group of 5 the trail is well packed out.
special equipment required: snowshoes still very helpful, as there was a mystery bare-booter who tore up the upper section of Liberty Springs pretty well between when we ascended and descended.
