Well packed all the way up. Two guys broke trail ahead of us. Barebooting possible, but snowshoes clearly superior for stability.
Special Equipment Required: Poles, snowshoes, layers, wind protection.
Temps stayed in single digits, but on ridgeline dropped to below zero. Wind was brutal above treeline and dropped the temp significantly even in the thicker woods. Views were fantastic of our wonderful, white winter wonderland!
