wondering if there is any winter parking at little river rd. off the highway to allow access to the north twin trail. i see nothing on maps and have heard it doesn't exist, but just curious. if not will anyone get angry if a space is "dug out"? i'm hoping for a winter route to the twins other than gale river rd.

A better approach to the Gale River Trail is through the Beaver Brook X-C lot a little past Gale River Road.

The North Twin approach is best done by requesting permission to park at the private property owners motel or better yet, spending some money at his polace of business. (7 Dwarf's)

We parked 3 cars at the end of Little River Rd today as describedby Cantdog. No problems.

There have been No Trespassing signs at the end of the road and sometimes the owner (not 7 Dwarfs which is further down) has bothered hikers.

One AMC trip dropped the hikers at the turnaround and parked the cars along the road further down near the side road, road does not have any signs relative to parking.

If you will worry about your car all day, pay the 7 Dwarfs or hike Twins up the Gale River Trail. Parking at the roadside at Trudeau Road is free.
