Lost crampons question

I hiked the Franconia ridge last Friday with a hike partner and toward the end of the hike we notice her crampons were not clipped onto her pack. We think maybe they were left behind at Greenleaf hut during a break but we were reluctant to head back up in the dark to look for them. OBP was very icy and would have been tricky in the dark.
Any suggestions on finding them? Would it be okay to ask anyone in the trail conditions thread if they found them? I'm new to the site and not sure if this may be a way to reach someone who found them.

Go ahead and ask

It makes perfect sense that you would ask people who posted trip reports if they found your lost crampon. Thats part of the reason this forum exists, so we can all communicate with each other.

Good luck finding it.
