These are probably long gone but just for grins, should any of you uber-hikers locate a pair of men's prescription sunglasses,brass wire rims, floating down Drakes Brook in the Waterville Valley area - they may belong to the hubby. Lost them in a tumble when crossing on the Sandwich Mtn Trail yesterday and not retrieved despite 20 min. of my wading in the stream and stirring up adjacent rocks.
While having no delusions that these will be found, I thought it would be interesting to see how far, and when, they ever get located. Three years from now? and well downstream? like a time capsule stranded on distant shores.
Next up: a pair of Croakies!
