Parking at the Garden was still available at 8:15 on a Thursday. Hike up Ore Bed, then over Gothics, Armstrong, Wolf Jaw with an add-on of Lower Wolf Jaw.

Trails and cables in great shape (though the down-slopes can be tough on 64 year-old knees - I think they're easier on 39 and 40-year-ild knees).

After Lower Wolf Jaw, a bushwhack down to Bennies Brook slide - Mirabela plotted a perfect line to the top of the slide. The slide and then a walk out to the South Side trail, a river crossing, and a 3:45 drive back to northeastern Vermont. At the bottom of the slide stay to the right of Bennies Brook for an easy walk out to the trail.

Thirty-two people and two dogs seen on the trail all day. All trails in great shape, easy to follow. Great Day.

One old fogie and two experienced hikers.
