Ditto what Fourfingers (Hmmm... he didn't even ask about alligator eggs...) and Screwloose said about the southern part, especially about the moose privy. From Brandon Gap to Middlebury, there were a lot of blowdowns, all easily or somewhat easily avoided. No trouble finding the trail at any point. And there were no 'nettles,' which previous guidebooks, as well as many locals, seem to mention ad nauseam.
