Up the Wedgebroook Trail, hiked the ridge then down the Beaver Meadow Falls trail. Plenty of snow and ice on the north side of UWJ & Armstrong. Lots of snow on the trail down towards Beaver Meadow. Most trails, if not covered with snow, had a lot of meltwater running -- so a pretty wet hike, and not from precipitation.
Crampons and/or microspikes were necessary. Snowshoes would not have helped much.
