The ADK Algonquin Chapter Lyon Mountain presentation and forum that was scheduled on 3-2-07 has been rescheduled for Friday June 1st 2007 at 5:30pm .The location is at Point au Roche State Park.
The public is welcome. This meeting is our annual picnic , you can bring something to cook on the grill(s), a place setting and a dish to share.

Directions to Pointe au Roche State Park :
Take the Northway to exit # 40 Spellman Rd (rte 456) and head East
At the stop sign turn RIGHT onto rte 9
Make your 1st LEFT onto Point au Roche Rd
Follow Point au Roche Rd PAST the Main entrance.
Instead turn at the entrance (on Right) opposite The Point au Roche Lodge.
Drive past the nature center(on your Left) continue on the gravel road down the hill , past Deep Bay and you will see a parking lot.We will meet behind the lecture hall building on the hill.
Saturday June 2nd National Trails Day
Clean up of the Lyon Mountain Trail. Strenuous. Bring lunch , beverage,
work gloves, and a heavy duty plastic bag
Poke O Moonshine Trail work days: ( I am a co-leader on these work days)
1) Saturday July 14th Front trail ( a real mess)
2) Saturday August 4th old jeep trail
