Date of Hike: May 15 2009
Trail Conditions:
The lower part of the trail was very wet, almost from the Elk Lake parking, to the cairn. And some sections, look like a brook.
The second section, from the cairn to the bottom of the slide, is in good shape with no blowdown, dry and no snow and easy to follow.
The slide was dry.
The last part was almost dry with 2-3 spot with a few shovelful of snow.
Special Equipment Required:
None, but waterproof boots would be, very helpful.
Comments:
Bugs not bugging to much. What a beautiful day for a hike!
