"The United States Ski Mountaineering Association (USSMA) announced that the Mad River Valley has been selected to host a Mountain Hardwear/Life-Link/Dynafit Ski Mountaineering Race Series event for the first time. It will be the first time the series has included an east coast event. “The Mad River Valley will be our first race on the East coast and you couldn’t ask for a better area to host our first race east of the Rockies,” said John Scott, Executive Director of the USSMA."
