PoisonIvy and I are heading into this area on Saturday the 20th. The plan is an ascent via Goose Eye Tr, bag the 3 peaks of Goose Eye Mtn (3870, 3794, 3675), continue on to bag the 2 peaks of Fulling Mill Mtn (3450, 3395) and Mahoosuc Arm (3765) and descend via Speck Pond Tr.
13.3 miles and 2750' of elevation, about 9:00 (plus whatever milage/eletime off trail to bag the peaks). We'll be setting a slowish pace, so will probably take longer than book time.
Haven't set a start time, but I'm thinking probably 8am?
Anyone interested in joining us?
Anyone got info on the current condition of the Goose Eye Tr? I believe I heard that the logging in the area has impacted the Carlos Col Tr, but maybe not so on the GE?
