Mansfield and Camel's Hump

Thinking of trying these two peaks this weekend. Any trail advice/recommendations?

From here:

The State of Vermont closes all trails on state land including those on Camel's Hump and Mount Mansfield from mid-April until Memorial Day weekend. Please do not hike in these fragile areas.

Those two mountains are essentially closed right now by the state of VT. There are suggestions for other hikes on the linked page.

Thanks for your messages. I read them late on Fri. and would have responded then but had to get in touch with my hiking partner and create a back- up plan for our weekend.
I had forgotten about the trail closures in VT till I read your replies to my query so thanks for saving me/us from that error.
I'll re-schedule the VT peaks for Memorial Day weekend.
