On Thursday, March 4, Lawn Sale and I will argue the merits of ultralight vs. traditional gear for hiking and backpacking. The event is sponsored by the Maine Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club. It will be held at the South Portland Public Library, 482 Broadway, South Portland, ME. It includes a potluck supper starting at 6 with the presentation at 7. It's free to the public. Details are in this flyer.
