VanHo is- of course- well broken and packed solid-MicroSpikes were great...Up to Marcy from last Jct is well broken..Marcy is boilerplate ice--Crampons or MSR's..Direct way to Gray is hard crust--Snowshoes for sure-Expect a few deep Spruce Traps..Butt slide down Gray..Skylight Trail is soft crushed snow and ice...Nice!
