Date of Hike: 2009.04.25/26
Trail Conditions: Trail is in reasonable spring shape. The sections around the bog brideges are muddy as expected. The section between East Mountain and the shelter has a good number of easily avoided blowdowns. Route finding is a little tricky in some areas due to faded blazes and generally open woods (but nothing that makes getting lost at all risky).
Special Equipment Required: None
Comments: Summer is here. I aborted a planned longer hike due to the 85 degree temperatures. 11 miles/day was enough for me. Shared the shelter area with a friendly 19 person boy scout group. They made great neighbors for the night!
