That is one of my feature books in my collection.It has a giant pull out map,which hangs on my studio wall much to my domestic partners chagrin.Toast to one of the giants!R.I.P.

I'm surprised to hear he's still alive, although on Annapurna he proved he was a real survivor!!

On the first US womans expedition, one woman turned around at high camp because she found a tear in her glove and being an eye surgeon didn't want to risk what happened to Herzog.
