Route notes: Started at third cairn at 3400', which is about 1/4mi west of where it shows on the quad. Lots of developing herd paths all over, but the only clear one is between the two peaks.
Conditions: Road very muddy and very, very wet in places. Also mucky east of East Mendon. Got a little too far south east of Mendon and hit some fairly thick stuff. Crossings of the Eddy Brook were not rock-hoppable; required fording (up to calf at points.) No bugs.
Special equipment: Waterproof footwear would be useful--if it's tall enough.
