Come walk off Thanksgiving dinner with us!
Participants thus far: me, Jade, TramperAl
M-M sections: 6, 5, 4, 3 for 19-23 miles (19.9 according to new guidebook, 22.6 according to website)
Section 6 includes Mts Tom, Goat, and Nonotuck. For those who haven't been, the trail winds along for about a mile at the top of the cliffs that form the western side of the Mt Tom ridge. As the guidebook says, spectacular. More info available here:

If anyone would like to join for the morning only, to see Mt Tom, we can work out car spots for that.
This will be our last outing on the M-M until our celebratory finish - sections 2 and 1 are scheduled for 12/31/2005. Though... none of us have yet managed to hike the Hockanum Flats. The Flats are a section of trail, .7 of a mile, from Route 47 to the CT river east bank. They've been flooded since, well, practically forever! We've bandied about many ideas and hope to get these under our feet sometime before 12/31, but it may have to wait for February and ice skates.
