from Farley Road near Route 2 to Atkins Reservoir Market Hill Road, 18 miles

Plan for a refreshing break at the Leverett Coop 9.8 miles into the hike. It's an earthy-crunch sort of general store. No need to carry lunch, they usually have many yummy sandwiches, soups, baked goods, and a small but good produce section. Best of all, indoor seating away from the bugs! If the bugs aren't bad they also have picnic tables. Bring cash or checks, last I knew they didn't take credit cards.
