Any ideas for a mellow two day one night backpack in Vermont?

W ewere planning on hiking from Killington to Woodstock ( car shuttle) AT , but I'm afraid the LT and AT will be too muddy up high.

Any other locations? ideas?
Thanks

In central VT, eg. Camel's Hump area, it's been very dry this spring and the trails are quite good up to around 3000 ft or so, some snow and ice above that but hardly any mud. I'd guess the AT is fine in the section you're proposing. A couple of weeks of rain could change things, of course. -John
