midweek late morning hikes

Wednesday (25 Jan) and Friday (28 Jan) I have only to teach one class first thing in the a.m. and then I'm free! to do some hiking. Here's what I have in mind:

Wildcat A & D via the ski slopes

Carter Dome via 19-Mile Brook and Carter Dome trails, possible loop up through Carter Notch if conditions are not too icy

Moriah via Carter-Moriah and/or Stoney Brook trails.

I can be at the trail head and ready to go for 10:30. Any interest in one of these hikes on one of these days? Fairly relaxed pace, likely finishing by headlamp.

Just wanted to keep this on the radar in case somebody has Wednesday and Friday free.

The plan for Friday is to meet at the main lodge entrance at Wildcat Ski Area (facing Rt 16) at 10:30. We'll be climbing and descending via the ski trails and visiting both D and A. Probably finishing by headlamp. So far have one human and one canine hiker joining me. Feel free to show up.
