Anyone up for some mid-week Maine hikes during the first or second weeks of January?
Top on my list: Coburn Mountain, using skis and snowshoes. (Although I make no claims to be a good skier.)
I don't live anywhere near there, so a less than alpine start and some finishing by headlamp are probably in order.
