Well, this was a second planned trip to monadnock to do the pumpelly, so a hiking partner of mine could get out and push her legs 9+miles. We had originally planned this in May, you know, on that weekend southern NH flooded!! Well, this day(6/2) was my birthday, and i warned her of my bad luck streak with rainy days on my birthday...and once again southern NH was under attack and getting whacked by rainfall again!! So we cancelled. I ended up working some my shift that night so as not to waste my hard earned time off, thus, i spent very little time with my family on my birthday and the weekend we were split up...postponing my birthday celebration...(read)presents until Sunday 
. And the main reason i am writing this thread is....I GOT A GPS...GARMIN....TOTALLY COOL, already playing with it...all i wanted was a watch with an altimeter, and this is way cooler. So the technology challenged, can't handle a digital camera, still figuring out my pre-paid trac-fone ctsparrow is learning to fly in the technology age with a GPS....someday i hope to grow up and be as awesome as bob & geri!!
