Monadnock - Cascade Link to Red Spot

The trails up Monadnock were a bit like a highway today. Lots of traffic. All of the trails were well packed down, with ice along the Cascade Link and about 2/3 of the way up Red Spot. We only had microspikes, and decided not to venture up the ice on the Red Spot. It was pretty slick and we didn't trust the spikes. Crampons would have been better.
