Monadnock - November 19

Thanks for the great trip report (11/12), Percious!

Since we could not go last weekend we are considering the same hike for this coming Saturday (11/19) and would like to invite anyone else who wanted to go out last week but couldn't/didn't.

Forecast Saturday is for sunnny and cold - assuming there isn't too much snow and ice accumulation this week we'll go - planning a similar route to that taken last week, starting between 8:30-9:00.

I am thinking of possible sunday trip - quick up and down version via the dot/cross route

We might consider Sunday - but would have to be back to trail head by 1:00 (Dennis has hockey practice).

I am thinking back at trailhead by 10am - i would have to be home in early afternoon (south/central mass) -

don't know yet though - may have to rake leaves.....

leaves or hiking - priorities

Hi Giggy, after raking for three weekends the leaves from our neighbor's yard made it look like we hadn't done a thing - soooo - rather than stay mad we'll wait for the wind to blow them back and go hiking .

But we'll have to stick to Saturday - we couldn't accommodate an early start on Sunday - no way we could get our almost 13-year-old to get out of the house before 7 and it's almost a two hour drive from here to Monadnock, so we'd be getting there at 9.
