I'm planning on going up Monadnock before sunrise to enjoy it from the summit Easter morning. Last year I did not get there early enough and had sunrise down near White Dot & White Cross junction but it was still spectacular with 3 to 4 inches of rime ice on the trees. If any one is interested in hiking up by whatever route you like I would be happy to see you up top or hike up with you. Being a family day I may try to bring some younger generation peakbaggers but its an early wakeup call. I will likely go up White Dot and down White Cross so I can get home in time to cook breakfast and participate in the egg hunt! My start time and pace will depend on whether family joins in. The goal as always is to enjoy the path so if the weather is foul and the sun won't make any showing I'll probably hit the snooze button until its time for ham 'n eggs!
