Trails: up and back via Crawford's path - went up over Eisenhower a second time for the descent.
Conditions: deep snow in parts (same as RickB's comments). Thankfully, we only had to break trail for around a half mile below the Pierce junction to the junction.
From Eisenhower to Monroe there were icy stretches - had to be careful picking footing. Not much trailbreaking required in that stretch!

with long views into Vermont!!! Oops - forgot the sun screen! We got out just just in time to avoid headlamps - after absorbing an outstanding sunset through the columnar trees.
