Monroe via Ammo: 3-18-14
I will keep this short and sweet as I know of at least one other Views member who wanted to post about the conditions.
The Ammo is a packed-powder superhighway thanks to countless snowshoe wearing hikers. There are only a few postholes to speak of but nothing to compromise the monorail beneath.
I met two backcountry skiers and saw a couple standing on the roof of the LOC hut. The drifts go all the way to the roof's peak.
Another awesome day to be out and the weather held steady.
