I have already done Mckensie by way of the main road. Would like to do moose from the lake trail. Where do you park? By the map I see you can also do it by way of jackrabbit trail. Any suggestions.

When you drive in stay to the left of the golf course. Look for Chipmunk Lane, I remember it being on the left as well. There is a parking lot at the end of the lane on the left.
We did a MacKenzie/Moose loop so we walked back up to the Jackrabbit trailhead. For Moose alone, you can take the steps down to the lake and turn left. Good luck finding the start of the SOA trail, there are a welter of woods roads, real roads, and herd paths back there until you come to the sign for Moose. Again, it's a left turn.
The MacKenzie/Moose loop is a really nice hike, by the way, on a soft and beautiful trail.
