Some observations:

• It was very heartening to see a group of folks who knew how to act properly around this moose.
• In deep snow like this, moose take a very proprietary interest in paths and plowed roads. Caveat skier.
• Despite the efforts of the Francophone language bureaucrats, in the end it's English that comes out under stress.
