Moose River Plains land-use changes

At this week's APA meeting, DEC will discuss a proposal to reclassify 15,000 acres in the Moose River Plains as Wilderness (no motorized use). At the same time, it wants to reclassify the main road in the Plains as an Intensive Use Area to allow more campsites than are permitted under existing rules.
