Lots of snow from bottom to top, even reasonable coverage above tree line. Snow starts to get quite deep on the steeper pitches near the junction. Broke trail the entire way with 7 others. Carriage road has significant drifts. Little exposed ice above tree line.
After this group based through, the trail is fairly well packed, but something on your feet for traction would be very useful. Used snow shoes the entire way and never regretted it.
Trail should return to all ice above tree line, once the winds pick back up. Today was in the 20s on top with very little wind. Very mild day.
