Date of Hike: November 8, 2009
Trail Conditions: Glencliff trail was in great shape. Very light dusting of snow and some ice up high but nothing to be concerned about. We descended via the Moosilauke Carriage Road, which also was in good shape and then took the Hurricane Trail back to the trailhead off of Route 25. The Hurricane Trail was very wet, rocky and difficult to follow in places. We lost the trail near the end and had to bushwhack down to the intersection of the Hurricane and Glencliff trails. It did not look like that trail got a lot of use.
Special Equipment Required: None
Comments: We would not recommend taking the Hurricane Trail between Moosilauke Carriage Road and Glencliff Trail.
