Date of Hike:
Trail Conditions: Well packed snowshoe trail top to bottom, some recent powder in spots to make it slippery on steep spots. Some wind blown snow on ridge to summit. About perfect winter conditions. Good sliding on the way down.
Special Equipment Required: Bareboot with crampons appeared to be possible but we used snowshoes. I would not recomend traction aids in lieu of technical snowshoes or crampons.
Comments: Optional - Breezy day, not as bad as forecast, I was with a group of mixed abilities and supported their decision to turn around at the point where it was full exposure. Clouds lifted and sun came out as we were starting down.
