Brief article but it said she was well prepared. Didn't sound negligent. She was definitely out there being 5 miles from the campground, which is almost 5 miles from the Rte 113.
 
Probably started at Bog Brook. I wonder what the stream crossings were like.
River gauges going into this weekend were extremely low, even with the recent t-storms. East Branch of the Pemi "spiked" to only 400 cfs. Rocky Branch went up noticeably on SUN when we were hiking out but the crossings were manageable (we skipped the 1st one via the new herd "path").
