Trail Conditions: The trail is 99% snow free with some mud and water here and there. We went up the Mount Percival trail and decended via the Mount Morgan trail. There are a couple of small patches of snow on the Crawford Ridgepole trail. There are a couple of small blowdowns but nothing that cannot be stepped over.
Special Equipment: None. We barebooted the whole way. We did see some sneakers on others but because of the mud I recommend at least some kind of boots (I hate to see people on the trails in sneakers or sandals or anything with no support)
Comments: We had a great day on Percival and Morgan. The skies were crystal clear and the sun was hot. In fact it was a little too hot. The temp in our car when we got back was 89 degrees. Lots of folks out there enjoying the spring conditions. The Percival trailhead parking lot was still closed but the Rattlesnake lot across the street was open. Cars were parked up and down 113 by the afternoon.
