Trail Conditions: small amounts of snow, some ice on the Stony Brook Trail. The first stream crossing was challenging. Bushwhack along the stream until you come to a three stream crossing, cross, then go straight ahead and you come to the trail. The Carter-Moriah Trail was icy is stretches. Some blowdowns on both trails, nothing to worry about.
Special Equipment: Stabilicers, MicroSpikes, crampons would not be overkill in some places on Carter-Moriah. Poles, winter clothing
Comments: Both trails in good condition. Traction necessary, carry crampons just in case
