June 13: Roaring Brook to Hopper to AT to summit (and back down).
Conditions: All trails clear of ice storm blowdowns, etc. (Thanks!) A bit wet in places due to recent rains, but no boots were required--we hiked in sneakers with no problems. The few bugs on trail weren't biting, and with breezes on summit, no bug problems there either.
Note: If you are planning to hike Greylock, be aware that there are a lot of intersecting trails on the mountain and consider downloading a copy of the trail map to take with you. (http://www.mass.gov/dcr/parks/trails/print/Mt.Grey-Summer.pdf) Maps are not available at the Roaring Brook trailhead and may not be available in other locations in the park.
