Date of Hike: 23 November 2013

Trail Conditions: Trail was a mix of dry with icy spots down low. More ice with elevation and a couple inches of powder up on the ridge. The crossing down low was an easy rock hop. No downed trees of note.

Special Equipment Required: we put on microspikes about a half mile into the hike and kept them on. They were perfect for the mix of dry trail with slick sections of ice and powder.

Comments: It was mostly cloudy but the sun came out while we were on top and we got a few shrouded views of the ridge and could see Flume Slide fine. The clouds never cleared from Lafayette or Lincoln. It was nice enough to have a snack on the summit but we were moving again before long. Thanks for a great day out Kat.
